2013 Cowboy Shootout

The Oklahoma State University Shotgun Sports Club successfully hosted the 3rd Annual Cowboy Shootout clay target competition on March 2 and 3, 2013 at the Oklahoma City Gun Club located in Arcadia, Oklahoma.  The purpose of this event is to host other collegiate shotgun sports teams for competition and raise money for the OSU Shotgun Sports club.  Proceeds from the shoot are used for the club to travel to other competitions including the Annual ACUI Clay Target Championships held in San Antonio, Texas.

Eighty-three shooters from 10 colleges and universities participated in the 3rd Annual Cowboy Shootout.  Teams represented schools in the following states: Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Arkansas, and Colorado.

The OSU Shotgun Sports Club would like to thank the Oklahoma City Gun Club for hosting the event and providing top-quality volunteers for both days.  Also, thanks go to Academy Sports+Outdoors for support of the event.
