2012 OSU Cowboy Shootout a Success!

The Oklahoma State University Shotgun Sports Club successfully hosted the 3rd Annual Cowboy Shootout clay target competition on March 3 and 4, 2012 at the Oklahoma City Gun Club located in Arcadia Oklahoma.  The purpose of this event is to host other collegiate shotgun sports teams for competition and raise money for the OSU Shotgun Sports club.  Proceeds from the shoot are used for the club to travel to other competitions including the Annual ACUI Clay Target Championships held in San Antonio Texas.

Seventy-two shooters from 10 colleges and universities participated in the 3rd Annual Cowboy Shootout.  Teams represented schools in the following states: Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Wyoming, and Missouri.  Awards were given as follows:

 

First Place Team; American Skeet - University of Missouri

First Place Team; American Trap - Fort Hays State University, Team 3

First Place Team; Doubles Skeet - Fort Hays State University, Team 1

First Place Team; Doubles Trap - University of Missouri

First Place Team; 5-Stand - University of Missouri

 

1st HOA Team - University of Missouri

2nd HOA Team - Fort Hays State University, Team 1

3rd HOA Team - Fort Hays State University, Team 2

 

Men's HOA - Bryan Hull, Fort Hays State University

Women's HOA - Josey Nunnenkamp, Fort Hays State University
